Pinterest has filed to go public in April! They have also brought on Walmarts former CTO, Jeremy King. Lots of exciting things ahead for Pinterest.
Acquiring Jeremy King, was the perfect move for Pinterest because he will help ride them into the e-commerce world to the point they want and beyond. You can currently purchase items within Pinterest, but as a daily user, there is a lot of potential the site has for e-commerce.
On the New York Stock Exchange, you will be able to see Pinterest as (PINS). Like many tech companies, Pinterest will have two sets of stocks, one that is one vote per share and another that is 20 votes per share.
I am excited to see what Pinterest has in store for us!
