Staying True to Yourself

Being a social media marketer can become overwhelming at times.

Focus on what you know and put your work into it. Don’t overwhelm yourself trying to learn and know everything right away. It’s a process, trust it.

When you’re just starting out, you look for free value. Which is normal and you can find abundance in Facebook Groups.

You typically end up finding a few that you consistently check and engage in and others you are in more or less to advertise.

What I have noticed is that when in Facebook groups, you tend you look up to successful group owners and want to be like them. There is nothing wrong with that, but their lifestyle isn’t necessarily yours.

For me, I started to think in order to be successful, I have to be like them. So I started doing SEVERAL projects at once realizing that I shifted my focus from my main money stream.

I took a step back today and evaluated what I need. I’m sticking to what I’m great at, social media marketing, and putting a majority of my focus back into that.

The rest of what I thought I needed to focus on, I am going to break up into sections and work on overtime.
